The hard part starts after enrichment
By The Verbiflow teamApollo and Clay are good at getting you to a list. But a list is not ready to send just because it has emails and LinkedIn URLs. Before outreach starts, someone has to make sure you are not emailing customers, open opportunities, duplicate contacts, or people already active in another sequence. Then the sends, replies, bounces, and meetings have to sync back to the CRM without creating a mess.
What after enrichment means
When we say “after enrichment,” we mean the work that happens after the list is already built. Maybe it came from Apollo. Maybe it came from Clay. Maybe it came from a CRM export or a custom scrape. Wherever it starts, the next step is the same: someone still has to make the list safe to contact.
- Suppress against the CRM. Remove customers, open opportunities, do-not-contact records, recent touches, and existing accounts that should not get cold outreach.
- Dedup across sequences. Make sure the same person is not already in another email, LinkedIn, or call sequence.
- Send from healthy mailboxes. Use existing mailboxes or connect new ones, but only send the volume those mailboxes can handle safely.
- Sync outcomes back. Replies, bounces, unsubscribes, meetings, and notes need to write back to the CRM without duplicate records, so attribution stays clean.
The manual version
Today, a lot of teams do this with exports. Download the CSV from Clay. Clean and dedupe it in Google Sheets. Compare it against HubSpot or Salesforce. Upload the survivors to Instantly, Smartlead, Outreach, or Salesloft.
Then email finishes and the second spreadsheet starts. Export the sequence results, filter out replies and bounces, take the people who did not reply, and upload them into HeyReach for LinkedIn follow-up. Email replies live in one place. LinkedIn replies live somewhere else. The CRM gets updated last, if it gets updated cleanly at all.
What Verbiflow does
Our customers wanted this handoff to disappear, so we built it into Verbiflow. Keep Apollo. Keep Clay. Keep the tools that build the list. Verbiflow is where the list goes next.
Upload the CSV, use the in-app wizard to build the sequence and copy, or have Claude Code push the audience through our MCP or SDK. Verbiflow automatically checks the CRM, dedupes across active sequences, sends from healthy connected mailboxes, and keeps email and LinkedIn replies in one inbox. Sends, replies, bounces, unsubscribes, and meetings sync back to the CRM with attribution so reporting stays clean.
Where Verbiflow fits
Verbiflow is not here to beat Apollo at Apollo or Clay at Clay. It is here so everything after Apollo and Clay stops living in CSV handoffs.
